Dauterive Hospital, an Affiliate of The Regional Health System of Acadiana, is a 103-bed full-service, acute care, accredited hospital that offers a full spectrum of services, including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, emergency care, outpatient surgery and rehabilitation.

We hold the Louisiana Health Care Review Inc. Platinum Level 2008 Louisiana Hospital Quality Award for improving the quality of health care for our patients. Dauterive also holds the prestigious Star Status in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Volunteer Protection Program, received initially in 2000. Star Status, the highest level of achievement possible in the program, is awarded to businesses and work sites that demonstrate outstanding health and safety practices.
